A Peek Into My Sensual and Moody Boudoir Studio

In most boudoir studios here in Denver and Boulder, Colorado you will often see light walls, fluffy decor, and furniture that accentuates the more angelic or innocent style of boudoir.

While nothing is wrong with this style of boudoir, it never really felt like me.

So I set out to create something different and unique. Something that feels like a sensual, full body, experience highlighted by the way light subtly and beautifully wraps the body.

My studio features two walls of windows, so there is natural light in every direction. This light allows me to create vignettes and spaces around the studio that utilize the natural features of light and shadow, no matter the time of day.

Where there are no windows, I’ve painted the walls a rich chocolate because I love the way that subjects pop with the right light against a dark wall.

Every element of the studio was carefully sourced, altered (your girl knows how to find a bargain and use some spray paint!), and visualized into the space in a way that feels cohesive, luxurious, and sensual.

Throughout your session we’ll work our way around the room, taking advantage of key features in the furniture such as plush rugs, satin sheets, crystal lamps, silky gold tassels, a velvet couch and a vintage cast iron tub from 1931! Oh and plants. I love plants and the depth and richness thay add to an image.

Each section of the studio plays well with different outfits, and I’ll make sure we’re using the best areas to highlight the attire you want to show off.
